An advanced class for high achieving high school students interested in pursuing a career in medicine or related fields, such as pharmacy, nursing, biomedical research or drug development. The Rosetta Institute conducts cutting edge research on tumor initiation, tumor progression and drug resistance using multiple myeloma and soft tissue sarcoma as model systems. The Institute also holds summer science camps for high-achieving high school/secondary school students interested in careers in medicine or related fields, such as pharmacy, nursing or medical research. The summer camps - Molecular Biology of Cancer and Molecular Neuroscience - last two weeks and are held at Yale University, UC Berkeley and UCLA.
