Led by Museum staff and celebrating its 13th year, Camp Intrepid is created with the emotional and academic needs of your child in mind. All campers experience hands-on learning, create theme-related projects, analyze artifacts and historic spaces and explore scientific concepts. During specific weeks, older campers may be introduced to computer-assisted design, 3D printing, coding and robotic elements.
Using its hands on interactive exhibits, artifacts and exploration, Camp Intrepid integrates weekly themes focusing on history & science, creating exciting & unique ways for campers to learn about aviation, navigation, life at sea & marine science, astonomy and space exploration.
In the Space pavilion, campers explore space travel using the Enterprise orbiter exhibit and our portable Planetatium and Geodome.
